Ngariam County in Katakwi District MP who also doubles as the State Minister for Sports Hon.Peter Ogwang is still the undisputed king of the throne in Ngariam County. This is after he humiliated his opponents in the recently finished NRM primaries to win the flag bearer again ahead of 2026 General Elections.
The hard working legislator pulled almost 90% of the votes against his opponents Mr. Mulalu Daniel who got 5% and Otuko Augustine 4%.
Hon. Peter Ogwang got 35,076 votes amounting to 89.4% against main challenger Mr. Mulalu Daniel who got 2264 votes amounting to 5.8% while the last one was Mr. Otuko Augustine who got 1888 votes amounting to 4.8%. This win shows that Hon. Peter Ogwang is heading for a landslide victory in 2026 regardless of contests against him.
