Today the first day of the New Year 2017, we as board members of Lunyo Heights (U) Ltd (a talent promotion company based in Bunyoro Kitara region-Uganda) in conjunction with Frontline entertainment have decided to release Kora Namaani song by Kelon G (Bunyoro Music Ambassador) featuring Khalifa Aganaga officially for public consumption.
Kora Namaani is a Runyoro statement that means Work hard and the song is entirely about sensitizing people to work hard in order to live a better life that everyone desires no matter the criticism from different corners of life. The song talks of inspiration from different personalities ranging from Bobi Wine, Octopizzo, Kiprotich, Douglas Lwanga, Akon to Bill Gates and most especially Farouk Miya who scored a goal for Uganda cranes making a win over Comoros which aided Uganda’s qualification for African Cup of Nations 2017.
Kora Namaani was written and sung by Kelon G and his friend Khalifa Aganaga, and studio work was done at Hinterland Records produced and mastered by Ronnie da Don who gave all his best to make sure that once you listen to this piece you get a feeling of putting it on a repeat.
We believe that the theme of 2017 to everyone is “KORA NAMAANI” because hard work pays.
